Eagle spotting near the beach !

We'd not been hiking long today when me and Mrs Pit were treated to the sight of this eagle on a small sand bank~

There were lots of birds to be spotted in this area, can you see the Heron hiding in this pic ?

I love seeing Bald Eagles there is just something magical about them. Looks like a great little hike. I especially like the picture of the twisted up tree. Thanks for taking us along.
 
Neat pic of the Eagle. Every once in a while we get to see a couple that live and hunt in this area.
it looks like you had a pretty cool hike.
