the modified wharneclif-style blade (like the kerambit) is awesome and I think the thumb groove is supremely well-thought out. what are the specs for the blade, Don? are you looking to sell it? perhaps you could post some pix of the Big Brother being held in a forward or reverse grip? how about the sharpness?

Thanks for the kind words, all. Here's one pic in a forward or whatcha might call a saber grip. I'll come back here on Friday and post some more pics (incl. reverse grip) and some more spec.'s. For now, the blade is 1/8" by 2.5". Sharpness? Funny you should ask. A few days ago I was bragging about how thin I grind the blades, a little less than .020". No sooner had I finished bragging that I can get a really sharp edge, than I fumbled this knife and instinctivly grabbed it so as not to drop it, and it sliced my finger real good. I didn't think it was going to stop bleeding!
Like I said, I'll post more on Friday. I'll be away for the next two days. You'll forgive me, I don't feel up to a photo session right now. I had a tooth knocked out (don't ask) and spent the evening having oral surgury to excavate the pieces out of my jaw bone. So I'm not in the most pleasant of moods! Looks like I'll be living on soup for a couple of days. I'll just say this event has caused me to come up with the idea of a "Judo point" (please don't call it a skull crusher) on the butt end of the Big Brother.
