Thank you to Eagtac for sending me this awesome light to carry and review. The 2014 version of this light is my all time favorite EDC carry light, until now. This one might just kick it out of my pocket for a while. It is sleek, pumps out some serious illumination, has a UI that wont aggravate the crap out of you and its tough enough that you wont have to worry about breaking it. The reverse clicky switch provides very positive confirmation that you have switched the light on but isnt so firm that its a pain to activate. It comes with a glow in the dark button cover and gives you a good mix between a smooth and orang peel reflector. It comes in a fairly simple cardboard box which holds the light, holster, lanyard, split ring and extra o-ring. The machining in the body looks great and gives you great traction when you grip the light. The fit and finish between parts is great and twist operation of the head is super smooth. The pocket clip is sturdy and wont leave you wondering if the light will stay where you clip it while multiple holes in the tail end of the light give you more than one mounting option for the split ring and lanyard. With plenty of light output the beam provides a good balance between spill and spot. I only noticed a slight ring around the beam which, in my example was not very noticable. Once again Eagtac has given us another great EDC option which has the look of a custom light without the price, all in all its an excellent choice to keep with you for daily illumination needs. From walking the dog to working on the car this light has served me well so far and I have no doubt it will continue to do so into the future just as the 2014 version has.
