The Becker BK2 is my favorite knife in the series, at one time I owned 4 of them. Here's some photos of one that was made by Blackjack Cutlery which had the contract to make these knives before Camillus did.
The box shows a lot of shelf wear but the knife and sheath are mint. The blade is even thicker than the Camillus version shown in the last photo. The blade has a light gray finish ( powdercoat?) rather than the black finish of the Camillus version.

The original Blackjack Campanions were 1095. I read one review in which the author used a sledge hammer to pound the Campanion to cut a large hole in the trunk of a Buick. You wouldn't have to worry about batoning it. I keep it as an emergency knife in the car. Despite the thickness it takes a hair shaving edge.
 
Thanks for the comments and thanks for the information about the type of steel used. It certainly seems like it could take some hard use.
