I've been searching all over and can't find anything. Does anybody know what kind of stainless Case used in the early 80's?
I should be getting this in the mail today
And I'm just curious if it's Tru Sharp or something else. It's a 6235 1/2 from 1982. I'm pretty sure those are Stamina wood handles too but if anybody could confirm that'd be cool.
I finally got a leather pocket slip so I plan to carry this knife, even though its the only one like that I own. I'm ecstatic [emoji2]
The blade steel is of little importance to me in the broad scheme, as I'm sure I'll love the knife regardless. I'm simply curious. My boss has a Case stockman from the early 1990's that he gets me to sharpen for him every now and then, and it's easy enough to sharpen in my opinion, and it makes me wonder if this is very likely the same kind of stainless.
