My girlfriend Jen and I went for a woods walk today. The leaves are starting to change, and the weather is crisp. Jen took some nice pics. :)

Me, messing around on some fallen trees.

Here's a fresh buck rub. There's lots of whitetail deer in this park, as well as some rabbits, turkey, and the usual mix of squirrels and groundhogs. We spotted three doe, but couldn't get any pics.

Here's a few pics I took with the lower-quality camera on my phone.

A little treat for the squirrels. :)

Someone's marking their territory.

I saw this old dump spot full of boilers, pots, mason jars, etc. I was hoping it was evidence of moonshining.

Here's a cool old coil of concertina wire.

Evidence of racoons, I think. ("Stop taking pictures of animal poop!"-my gf)

Still a few apples in the tree.

Thanks for looking!

Hey John Nice pictures
I do not knoe where you would look but wire like that is collectable a few lengths here and there may bring a few dollars in for you. That is if it is in an area where it can be collected and removed-you do mention a day in the park.Im thinking Letchworth ?? Looks like you had a nice time out always good to get away
As always liking that Boattail
Thanks

Thanks Dan! I thought the wire looked pretty unique, with its different sets of teeth. I haven't seen barbed wire or concertina like that before. It's a decent sized coil but I could carry it out on a pole with a buddy's help. I'll ask around and see if antique shops are interested. Something to consider. :)

Looks like another fun day! and I would defiantly get that wire or at least some of it.
