Early Aviator Refinished

I purchased an early South African D2 Aviator (numbered 237) some time ago and had it refinished by Chris Reeve. I got my Aviator back in fantastic shape, a nice letter with an approximate date of manufacture, and an extra buttcap for it. Needless to say, I'm very happy with Chris Reeve Knives.

They did stop making the Aviator in 2008 I believe. Thats why I rushed out and got one !!!

They stopped using the hex shaped butt cap many years ago. I was really glad to find one with the old style cap. I just like the looks of it better than the newer style.
