Truth be told the blade was fine, it was just the guard and handle were kind of out of whack.
Guard is running pretty true now. Handle is real nice on this one too.
 
That is a gorgeous Rose. Plus it's been hand-tuned by one of our own:)
I will always find the "original" Roses true mainstays of the HI line up just because I know Yvsa, our late great moderator/friend/teacher, worked very hard with Uncle Bill to get the Rose just right.

That said, I kinda like this blade without such a pronounce belly or scimitar shape. Looks like that one would thrust to the hilt;)
 
I asked about the earlier one and it was a different knife from inventory.
 
Cant believe these are still here, the prices are amazing. Hopefully these were stealth sharked. A 20" Bowie style for $95 ohh man. That DC at an ounce and inch I bet is perfectly balanced.

If Bawanna fixed the CR, I'd bet it's better than before! Looks like Pugs really likes it.
