gonna make a nic b-day present for a friend

Frigid, Yangdu sometimes posts up deals at odd hours to better serve those of different time schedules for work or customers that live on the other side of the planet:)

Generally speaking, the deals of the day normally hit somewhere around 1-4pm eastern time. I would have loved to have had a chance for the seax. A really useful blade for sure:)

I was going to take a look late yesterday & I would have made this one last night. However, my spouse requested my presence elswhere & I was told to get off that computer.

Oh well, didn't really need any of these anyway. I just got my first HI, have an 18" sirupati on order & I'm still looking. On the upside, these are cheaper than firearms. These are neat, fit & finish are way better than I expected & make a nice addition to the gun room.

You're gonna love that 18" Siru...However, it probably won't be your last;)

They are cheaper than firearms, but man do they pile up in a hurry. 5+ years about 50-60 blades later, I'm still looking for a place to put them all as well as jobs for them to do;)

My solution: have lots of kids! I figure each of my boys needs a chiruwa ang khola, and have thus far been able to get one for each. For my petite little daughter, with small hands (but plenty of spirit and a love for the outdoors and an appreciation of edged tools), I think a recently-acquired chitlangi will do nicely. And of course a little 9-incher for each kid, to tide them over until they're big enough to chop with the big ones on their own.

Already on to the kid thing. The boy is 4 & has a couple 22's, an AR15, M14, Browning HP, Couple old smith revolvers & two bolt guns in 308 & .243. Now he has a an 18" sirupati. He probably needs an Ang Khola to go w/ it & I should probably get another Sirupati so we each have a set. One kid is enough for me though.

What does he get when he turns 5? ;)

Probably nothing. I went on a buying rampage this year on firearms & ammo. Bought a lot of crap I really don't need (built a 50 BMG, real hard explaining the necessity of that one.) Seeing as how the next election will go it probably wasn't a bad idea. Hell, might be able to buy knives on the internet next year.

I think the boy is set. So far, he's into guns, knives & hunting if that ever changes daddy still has a pretty cool stash.

He might need a HI sword of some sort yet though.
