Early Busse Mean Street

I bought this knife in the early 1990's at a NC gun show to replace another Busse I lost on a hunting trip. I remember it being a Busse, but it is not marked in any way. I did some research a few years ago and seem to remember this is an early Mean Street, and that they were not marked at the factory. Anyone have any knowledge of these early knives? If I remember the sheath is correct for those early models. Any help would be appreciated.

Definitely a Mean Street in A2. Looks like a very early one with the smooth bolts. Later ones generally didn’t get the slots fully ground off. The sheath is period correct too, but there were different ones through the production run. D7689AA9-2B76-4420-A531-7A64DEDAAC53.jpeg

Thanks for your input. Any opinion on value? I will probably be listing it soon. My better half is pushing me to get rid of some of my toys.

YOWZA!

That brings back the memories. Was the gun show in Fayetteville, NC? If so, I was there.

There were a couple of other shows that we worked in NC but I don't remember in which cities.

Very cool!

Yes! Been going to the Fayetteville show for decades....not so much recently. And I do vaguely remember meeting you at the show.

And that memory right there is worth more than the knife itself. Glad I got the chance to meet Jerry in 2014 at Blade before the end of Busse @ Bladeshow. Mighty cool knife too, love the old Busse's but haven't ever owned any that old.
