This is my first post in the forums. I just wanted to thank all especially Yangdu for their patience and abundance of information. I've recently bought two khukuri, a 12" Ang Kola and a 9" baby Chitlangi. Unfortunately the bank of wife has revoked my spending privileges until Christmas. Any suggestions on what I should tell her to get me as a Christmas gift?

Also I've noticed that there aren't too many reviews on the 12" AK and was wondering if I shouldn't have gone with something a little bigger. The baby Chitlangi was an impulse buy, I was trying to hold out until Yangdu got a shippment of Biltons. Does anybody have a preference between the baby Chitlangi versus the Biltons?

again thanks to all

the biltons are cute, to be sure, and more than capable as small knives; the reality is that they're large even by some people's perceptions. solid, good.

the baby chits are of course imho, better; good sized handles, fullered blade, whoa nelly :> very usable camp knife. really tough to beat.

if you're VERY lucky, and fast, you can score a tiny fullered (dui chirra) bilton. rarely. think of them as very small kothimodas, iirc. very small.

That was my question as well. I have a bilton on order, already have a baby chitlangi, and was trying to picture an even small khuk in the bilton.

Thanks for your answer, Bladite!
