Looking for some help with pricing of these two early Spyderco clipit’s that I am planning on selling. I have looked at the prices on the big auction site, but the prices seem to be all over the place. The endura has the original box and appears BNIB. The stickers have fallen off the box though. The rescue does not have a box but is in very good condition. Looking for input on cash value, not trade value.

It would help to see the clips. The Endura underwent multiple mold changes, so the clip molding changed several times.

Hi Cosmo,

It would also help to see the Spyderco imprint on the front side. Very early Rescue and Endura. Looks like the 3rd mold change on the Endura Clip. Back then when we were chamferring opening thumb holes. Ancient history. At least 25 years or more old.

Ok, I added pic of the spyderco imprint. Really appreciate any info provided.

I hope to not mess up your thread, Cosmo, but I bought this very early Merlin clip-it at a flea market - it was in the pile of $2 knives, and I gave the fellow $5 for it - piece of history and most people don't recognize.

I’m so glad this isn’t done anymore! It made it difficult to get a proper perch on the edge of the hole. Made opening way harder than it needed to be. So much better with a crisp corner to perch the tip of your thumb on.
