Early Endura

I recently bought a new early model Endura. Blade is very stiff to open. There is no pivot screw. Ant ideas to make it open easier. Almost need two hands to open. How does the Endura compare to the Para Military? Thinking of adding it to collection.

The only think i know to do to make it easier to open is to put a drop or two of light lube on the pivot, and open it 9000 times while you are watching ESPN.
