My oldest is back for spring break and HAD to go fishin. Suckin the ice out of the guides doesn't appeal to me anymore, too many milder days ahead,,,so I filmed.

Good job on the video. I'm not much for blowing ice out of the rod eyes either. But my brothers have never stop; winter, spring, summer, or fall.

Awesome video, I've been tying and restocking all winter just waiting for a thaw...I'm jealous. A couple more weeks and the water should start flowing!

great camera work man!!!

thanks for posting........what pattern was she using?

The sockeye fry are starting to hatch and move now so time to get out to some of the coastal rivers and lakes they feed. The big trout and sea run cutties come out of the backwaters for the bonanza, they herd them into bait balls like salmon/herring.

Gotta get out soon

Black Bead-head, all black, size 14, bout 2 in the afternoon.

Very nice!
Thanks for showing!
Spring should be here soon and I long for the fishing rod, but still the winter hold its firm grip on Mother Nature.

Regards
Mikael
