Help: I am looking for pictures of some of Rick's super early works, with Damascus. Not looking for XMs but linerlocks and the sort that I have heard about but not seen.

Thanks for any help you all can provide!

Yeah, I already thumbed through alot of that, mostly XMs. Was hopin for more of the others, guess that if they were out there they would probably be in there though.

Thanks

They pop up in other threads, on the Internet in image searches, on some Web sites that have sold the items in the past but do not have them in stock, and the photo gallery on the Hinderer site has had a lot of cool images over the years.

The Firetac is a very cool "early" design.

And I just found a Damascus letter opener in an image search.

Here ya go!

The only "window frame" Firetac.

Was there alot like this? Was the entire knife made by Rick or just the damascus?

Thanks Hammer!

I don't believe there were "alot like this", Rick was largely a one man shop hand building custom knives, a farrier, a blacksmith, a fireman and a husband. I do believe Rick made this entire knife including forging the damascus. Surely Rick, Rob or Mike will correct me if I am mistaken as they know far more into this history than I do.
