I bought this back during Christmas. Since I've had it, it has become one of my most carried knives, behind my carbon fiber DT Sebenza. Today, I anodized it after enjoying the factory blasted finish for some months. It is still blasted, but also anodized now. I was going to change my back spacer to a polished earth tone, and do the lanyard pin to match but, the blue accents look good together in my opinion.

Thanks in advance for taking a look and I hope everyone is doing well.

That looks awesome like that! Never saw another look like that. Nice job. I have the same knife and i carry it more than any other. Only thing I did was patina the blade with muratic acid and gun blue. Turned out nice.

Thanks all!

The micarta looks like denim. How did you do that? My micarta looks black.

The reason my inlays look this way is due to the process of electro anodizing. When prepping ti for electro anodizing, many people use a Multi Etch bath to ensure an even coating that is rich in color, and more durable than without the Multi Etch bath. The micarta inlays trap a little bit of the Multi Etch mixture so, when you anodize the scales, the Multi Etch mix trapped in inlays reacts to the current and electrolyte in the anodizing mixture and releases the gray substance you see on my inlays. Basically, it's from the tiny tiny bit of Multi Etch residue contaminating the anodizing bath slightly and releasing a byproduct. It actually looks like freshly sand blasted micarta. As the inlays wear in again, they will darken like they tend to normally. Or I can just scrub them down with some 91% isopropyl alcohol and an old tooth brush to get the residue out.

That looks great !

I've recently had 2 Ti knives that were bronzed and dreamed of a bronzed CRK, now I really want one !

First annodized Sebbie I really liked, great job on that I could stare at it for hours.

Much obliged, CRK friends. I am humbled by your kind words. Few more pics...

Bill, thanks for your kind words. I read you are working on some Ti beads? I'd like to talk to you about buying one or two of them. I'll be in touch over the weekend, and I hope you have a good one.

Harris-

Send me your address..I'll take care of you when I can get to them. I have a trip planned tomorrow to go see my mother before her surgery.
