So, I just got an ebony GEC 23 Bull Lock in the mail today and have been messing with it all evening. For those of you who have them, what way have you found to best disengage the lock lever? I have a two-hand, swithing back and forth, six or seven step "process" that I feel could be improved upon...

Hey Blaine,
I don't have a Bull Lock,but here's a video of an Otter SicherheitsschlieBmesser,maybe it'll help ya.:)

Perhaps GEC should have flared the end of the lever just a bit so it overhangs the side of the scales allowing your thumb tip to slide under & start the lever up & forward.

Like on this one that glennbad rebuilt for me & the Otters.
I can get this guy open with one hand.

I simply push the lever up with my thumb and close the blade against my leg. I find it easier to close one-handed than a back lock.

There ya go,I was wondering if that was possible with the skinny looking lever on the BL.

It appears I was having trouble pushing the lever all the way up once my thumb was under it, without having to reposition. I think I've got it now.

Nice to see Case coming out with a CV model this year . I think it's a Bose designed knife so should be well worth it . Sorry my bad it's not the lockback .
