Easler Knives

I am interested in finding certian knives made be Russell O. Easler.

I am assuming from your location description that you are Russell's widow.

My condolences...he was a fine man, and a talented maker.

Detailed descriptions, and hopefully, photographs would be necessary for us to help you....but we will do everything we can.

Best Regards,

STeven Garsson

I think Russell's wife died about a year before him. Could be a daughter, son, or other relative?

I believe that you are correct. The late Ron Gaston has a sister. Perhaps the Gaston blades that Russell finished are the ones referred to in the original post. Only speculating, however.

No, she is Russell's new bride.

Our condolences about Russell, I was shocked to hear of his sickness and his passing.

I was friends with Ron Gaston and always admired the care Russell provided to Ronnie. I enjoyed meeting Russell at Ronnie's funeral and discussing knives with him.

I have one of the BAKCA knives he made in the 90's with scrimshaw on the handle. His logo on the blade, I believe the standing "bear"? I have to check as I may have one more in the collection somewhere. Don't know what you are really looking for.
