East Coast Combat Class anyone?

Hello all,

As some of you may know, I have been attempting to coordinate the set-up of an East Coast training class in conjunction with the upcoming New York Custom Knife Show.

I had all but given up but was recently given the green light by Ernest to see if we can't all make it happen.

This would be our first Emerson Combat Systems, Basic Defense Against the Deadly Attack class on the East Coast that is open to all comers. With all of the requests that we have had over the years, this should be an easy one to fill up. The class, of course, is not limited to forum members. If anyone has friends, training partners, enemies in need of a good beating , let them know and sign them up.

Here is what we will need to do;

I am GUESSING that the class will need to happen either on October 29-30 or 30-31.

We need to have 30 people to make the class a go. By this I mean, we need to take credit cards from 30 people far enough in advance to make all of the other arrangements solid.

Well, here is the current status.

As of 0938 on Tuesday, September 24th., we have exactly 6 people officially signed up tfor the course that we are trying to put together prior to the NY Custom Knife Show.

I know of at least two more forumites that will sign up. Assuming that they do, that will out us at 8. That is a few sandwiches short of a picnic.

I have beat myself over the head trying to put this together for everone who has asked, begged, pleaded, demanded, cajoled, and otherwise whined about an East Coast training opportunity and now it might not happen due to a lack of sign-ups?

I am not pushing for the sake of Emerson Combat Systems. I am pushing to try to make something happen for all of the people who want it to.

How much dinero are we talking? Whats the price of an Emerson Combat Systems course? I am interested but short on cash due to recent knife purchases.

The class is $250 and includes a graduation certificate as well as an Emerson Combat Systems shirt.

The dates have pretty well been settled on the 30th & 31st.

Hello, I spoke with you over the phone. I'm the guy that works for the government. I recently fedexed you guys a SF-182 (govt form to pay for the class). Did you get it yet? What's the minimum number of students you need to have the class? Maybe I can convince some of my colleagues to sign up. I know I can get at least one other to come with me. Thanks.
