Who is going to be in attendance at the ECCKS in NYC on March 9-11?

Tell your "Cousin" Hi for me and if you can, lift one or two of those "pre-tacs" from him and send them out my way!

Jackstraw: I trust you will keep your sharp eye peeled for any "pre-tacs" and of course give me a shout if there are any there you don't buy!
 
Sadly, I will miss it for the second year in a row. Off to Miami again.

Was at the show from about 1:15 to 3. Didn't see any of the suspects that I've met at previous shows. Only a few Emerson knives dispersed around the show. 2 full dress, mop, damascus, right side grind viper blade, cqc6s, priced at $3500 per, and one full dress, mop, damascus, left hand grind, cqc6 at the same ask. Only other Emerson was a Y2K 6 with secondary bevel. I keep hoping that a half moon or viper logo will just be sitting quietly on a table. No such luck. Next time suspects must agree on a meeting point. Missed you guys. I brought some pre-tacs and fixed blades and had no one to show them to.

Alan, Thanks for the update. Wish I could have made it. I'd have talked until I was blue in the face trying to talk you out of those "Pre-tacs" you brought!

Do you remember the serial numbers on those two CQC6/Vipers? I know where #8 and #9 are and I thought that the others may be in the japanese market by now. One other one was sold in the U.S. to a business but I don't know the serial number on it. I'd be interested in knowing if these were single digits or double digits.
 
Was at the show from 12(early) till 7. That pearl handled Emerson was sweet. Jackstraw, was the CQC-6 at Farina's table for $1400 the Y2k one? Saw alot of the BF guys, jbravo,nakano,yitz,bcaffrey,ebbtide,philL,trader1 and more.
Hey cousin Jack, it was really crowded the first couple of hours. Don't know how you missed me though-275 lbs., svelte,sleek, and just plain good looking

Yep cuz, the 6 was at Farina's table. Brought the pre-tacs per your request. Crazy crowded. Was really bummed at not meeting up w/ any of the guys. In November we won't have any problems as we will all be bunched at Ernie's table.

Didn't check on the serial #s of the Viper/6s. If I go back tomorrow I will let you know for sure.

Hey Jackstraw, Sorry I missed you at the show. I didn't have a chance to go to the show this year. Haven't really had time to do much outside of work. Always look forward to seeing you & your collection. Take care,
