east katana vs west saber post? Can't find it.

Hey guys can you help me out.. i have been reading this long ass post about a katana versus saber.. and I can't seem to find it anymroe.. can some kind soul point me the right way? i found it interesting and also wonder if it turned into a flame war like it was joking ly mentioned..

with two articles from the aforementioned website (www.thehaca.com). Good articles worth reading, with lots of detailed analysis and reasonings.

Seems the classic battle between defense and offense (armor vs sword) drove much of the western development. As one got better, the other had to improve as well.

But also to reiterate, my intention wasn't to try and prove the superiority of either katana or saber. It was intended as more of a question as to what factors led to divergent designs, since both were around for a long time.

Lots of good feedback that the above articles reinforce and supplement.
