This is a bit of a mix of Japanese and western style kitchen knife. A little thicker than a traditional japanese kitchen knife with a but more "belley"
The Blade is 1095, water quenched, 7" long. The handle is magnolia wood, chestnut shaped for right handed users, and horn ferrule.

Thanks guys:o

this was one of those knives that seem to fight me every step of the way, and feels like a monkey on your back untill you gt it done. I know you've had atleast one, " I'm gonna finish this if it kills me" knives. Well, it only stabbed me 3 times, once in my foot:grumpy:
