Hello guys! Getting ramped up for Blade Show now. Dylan and I are getting a booth this year. We will be announcing the show plans soon. They will include the booth #, special deals, and plans for our annual get together at an area restaurant on Saturday. Guys, we try to have a LOT of fun at Blade Show. Its our only show, and we really try to go all out. Its when we get to shake hands with you folks, and we love that! We will each have 50 knives on the table, and I will have 20+ machetes as well. We will also be announcing new hats and shirts soon. We would love if EVERYONE of y'all came out and had a beer with us! I'll start a Blade Show batch thread soon. I have 12 knives set aside already. I have two heat treated Bow Legged Chopper blades that are going to be show fodder as well!!!

I also want to remind everyone that I do have machetes in stock. Currently there are 12's, 14's and 16's. We're doing a batch of machetes next week and there will be every model in stock after that!

Next week I am going to put handles on the collaboration blades with Bill Akers. I'm really stoked about this collaboration. Its the first one that went off this big. His blades look great too. I've got a bunch of pretty stabalized woods to put on them and I'll try to make them stunners!

OK. Now to this weeks batch! First up is a pretty Desert Ironwood handled Nessmuk. Scandi on 3/32" thick 3D Spalted 01 steel. Simple black liner and pins. (As requested :-) $250 shipped US with Heber's sheath!

This is a pretty EDC with rust colored burlap scales. The 5/32" thick 3D Spalted 01 steel is convexed with a high grind. Nice carry knife. $255 shipped US with sheath.

I made two really pretty Hiking Buddies this week. Both are wearing maroon linen on nat canvas with a white pinstripe. The pins and bullseye tube are nat can. The convex knife is 5/32" thick 3D Spalted 01 steel, and the Scandi is 1/8" thick (same steel). $235 shipped US with sheath for either.

The scales on this Ladyfinger are cofee bag burlap. But the thing is I saved the two pieces with the most label parts for this knife. Its pretty neato. The blade is 5/32" thick 3D Spalted 01 steel. $280 shipped with Heber sheath.

So, now there are 3 Carvers. Have you noticed the blade shape variations? This is the third installment. Its got an elliptical edge. So, there is a beak/claw shaped edge, a straight edge, and an elliptical edge. The one today is elliptical, and has a Desert Ironwood handle. $220 shipped for the knife, Heber is making a sheath for these currently which will be available soon. There will be a couple of 3 knife sets at Blade Show.

Hey Andy -

I was looking at your website and noticed that you offer two sizes for the nessmuk. Can you tell me which size this one is? Is it still available? It sure is a looker...

You picked a good one to go with. The Hiking Buddy is a fantastic little knife, big enough to handle most tasks and still small enough not to send sheeple on the trail into shock. I love the scandi one that my wife now has, but I really want to pick up a 5/32 convex for myself

thanks mistwalker. i have been waiting for one to come available. the specs seemed perfect to me. and, all the HB owners seemed to love 'em. ironically, i pinged andy just a couple days before these came up for sale. wanted to ask him about ordering either the hiking buddy or the bushpik. imagine my good fortune. i can't wait to try it out. i'll be sure to post some pics. happy easter.

The liners are black. There is an orange pinstripe though.

My lil buddy is finally done! Now I gotta get someone to to a horizontal leather w/kydex insert for her. Anyone got any ideas on who to get to do this for me? Thanks Andy, she ought to be a real slicer, cant wait to get some peaches and put a nice patina on her not to mention my wifes peach cobbler will be a direct result of the process!! LOL. Yea I make it to Blade but I figured with all the help at the shop the booth would be full.

Cool! Very glad you're happy.
