Easter Dinner w/ the Machax

Cooked Easter dinner for the guys at work and thought I would have a little fun carving the roast. Replaced the regular carving knife with my Machax. The guys took one look and said "WTF?!?! That's a knife!!" Was able to separate the bone from the roast with ease. Then was able to carve the rest of the roast like a block of butter (helps when you have a 16lb Prime Rib Roast). :D So not only can it chop it can slice pretty well, very versatile piece of steel. A few of the guys may become BK&T converts.

Did you kill the cow with that machax to or just carving it?

If no one got that joke it meant that the khukri was put into use as a weapon after a soldier saw a farmer take of a goats head with one slash of his khukri...

Yes that is a remote master stream w/ a 10000 gpm tip. The truck itself is a 2011 Pierce Quint with TAK5 suspension. Actually my truck (a 2001 Pierce) is at the mech. shop for a couple of months for servicing and maintenance.

Thanks for the compliment. Yes I did cook the roast. Kinda part of the job. The only way you can really screw up a roast like that is to overcook it. Maybe Mr. Becker can chime in with some recipe ideas.

I've cooked plenty of prime rib, but it looked to be just about perfect! Nice job on it. I used to help my uncle cater weddings and events and for a long time, Prime Rib was king. Easy to make, just takes time.

Ok great now Im hungry and I aint settling for anything but some roast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
