Easter Hike with Zeus...4-24-2011

Carol's allergies are acting up--so it was Zeus and I

Tested the Cheaper Than Dirt bag---

It's a great size for a short day hike.

Great pics, I love the cactus lined trail I have a few of those that I hike around here.

Great photos Bill. I would love to explore that area, the plant life there seems so alien to me now since it has been so long since i was out that way. Zeus looks like he's guarding the trail head in that one pic. Nice knife, which model is that?

Looks like a great day for a hike. Zeus is looking fantastic and you look like you're doing well. One day I sure hope to join you on one of those hikes.

Great stuff, before you put your bandanna on, I was going to tease you about the sexy leopard speedo's you are packing in your kit. However, I recognize that it is probably illegal in Texas to carry a Busse and speedos in the same bag :D

Great idea. I've been up there once, long before I knew of Pit. The beauty is the reason I moved to the NW.

Thanks for all the nice comments about Zeus again

as far as the Fehrman--

I got it used with oversize handles and no divet(both handles look the same)

It's one of my favorite small knives--test one if you can

My shaved head sunburns fast--that "do rag" was a gift and comes in handy.

and Texas lets you carry whatever you want-as long as you have a permit

But my Speedo days are over
