Assuming I can get the pix to post and if they do the tips of the blades are really not purple. That's a shawdow from deck railing.

top -- 20 inch 24 ounce Kobra by the kami who designed this model, Kumar. Fit -- perfect. Finish -- magic stone mirrow. Hardness -- near 60 Rc and sharp. Handel -- perfect. Karda and chakma -- very ghood to excellent. Scabbard -- village sarki standard. This guy almost never stutters. Frog -- HI 100 year. Overall rig 10/10. The Easter Bunny who is visiting the dust bunnies this weekend said to put it up in his honor for $75 delivered so here it is.

center -- Just to show everybody he can make a standard M43 better than anybody in the shop Bura sends us this 17.5" 28 ounce model. All I can say is it's as close to perfect as a kami can get using non-precision tools. The handle actually looks like it's been machined. Somebody in Nepal might be able to make one as good but they'll not make one better. 10/10 rig by Bura and village sarki. Happy Easter from the Easter Bunny -- delivered to your door for $125.

bottom -- 18 inch 28 ounce WWII by the Amtrak kami. It's the worst of the lot but is better than anything being make in Nepal today. It's a 10/10 rig. Only problem I can find is a slight irregularity in the on the right side -- grain lines which can be polished out if you like. Otherwise the entire rig is near flawless. The most generous Easter Bunny says price it a 1/2 ($62.50) + shipping ($12.50) = $75 delivered to your door. UBBB category.

Call or email before 11AM tomorrow Reno time and we'll ship tomorrow.

Almost pulled the trigger on the M43 but decided to leave it as they don't have as much pull on me as horn-handled 18" WWIIs, Bura-made or not. So I'll give the Amtrak kami a try this time!

Customers who don't bother to visit the forum are at a disadvantage.

And don't feel like the Lone Ranger, Sun. It is my karma to buy something (anything!) on the weekend only to see it appear in a sales ad on Monday for half what I paid.

I actually re-wrote the email 3 times trying to decide. When Uncle says it's good, I know it would be a great addition to my collection, but I just don't see using it as much as a plain 'ol WWII. Looks great though!

M43 gone.

And, actually the Kobra is 1/2 price + shipping -- another UBBB. And made by the father of all Kobras, Kumar.

LOL here I was patting myself on the back about buying the RR-kami's 18" WWII, and UB goes and posts the Bura horn-handled 18" WWII... He's a good salesman, always leaves us wanting more, sneaky fellow.

What's that honey, I already have a Bura 18" WWII, well yeah, but I don't have THAT Bura 18" WWII...

Is it just me, or does there seem to be more M43s up for sale lately? Has something happened to the Duck, cause the last few all seemed to go to people not name Daffy? :D

Holy crap. This unholy alliance of the Easter Bunny with the Dust Bunnies seems designed to part me from my lunch money. ARRGH. Must resist.

Is it Easter already?

I finally picked up the 18" WWII today, and it is pretty good for a new guy. It has a very agressive, forward feel, different from other WWII models. Pointy, too, and probably the sharpest one I've had from HI yet. Karda on the small side but sharp too. All together, an excellent value and I look forward to RR's progress in the future!
