I've had a Genesis 1 for about two years. It has always been a great knife but no matter how much I tightened the pivot screw it still had a little side-to-side play. I finally tore it apart and took out the brass bushing that surrounds the pivot screw. I honed the length of it a "hair" and rebuilt the knife. NOW IT IS ROCK SOLID!! The bushing was just a fraction of a mm too long and prevented a SOLID blade. REALLY changed an OK knife into a great one!
