After reading this forums I come to know of the easy grip openings in the handle. Very nice for a lefty because I can open the knife justt pinching the blade instead of turning it around. Especially in slipjoints with deep covered blades. During this 10 years I worked on three of my favorit EKAs. Its a mod 45 wood, just like a the plastic 38s and designed of Sigvard Bernadotte, our kings uncle, in the 60ties. Next is a EKA 311. Small nice and sturdy. Not very spread produktion on that modell, not as popular in the time of manifakture as it deserved to be. The curly one I worked on myself based on a EKA 100 all metall modell. Even tried a Scagel open nailnick. One of my first attempts to work on a knife and not as good as I hoped it to be. Still a usable knife I EDC sometimes when the main ratation gets boring.
The Kiwi is a kind of modern easy grip slipjoint. Quite nice. Could go for a EDC for a not so knifenutty person. I rotate it sometimes but as Im adicted to carbon steel.......
