Hey all, I'm working on the label for the 2011 BFC Knife and have a favor to ask.
Anybody have a shot of an E/O Jack (similar to the one GEC will be producing) straight on, main blade opened halfway, Decent size and resolution? Preferably on a light color background? Doesnt need to be exactly the same as i will be taking artistic license with it and it will be used rather small. Google turns up some but none are really usable.
Thanks so much

Not exactly what you are looking for but maybe it will work.

If not let me know and I'll try to scan you a shot with the main blade half open.

How about checking with Mr. Ken Coats on using his photo? I sent you a PM.

Hey guys,

This is my first post so hello. Waynorth, that Wilbert easy open just blows me away.
Can you tell me anything about that knife? Can't take my eyes off it.

Trey

Guys, Wilbert was a Sears & Roebuck brand, made by various contractors.
Utica, Camillus - many others. I never did pin this one down, but it does have some flair!

Thanks for the info.

I followed another thread and I understand that knife is going to be the pattern for the Blade Forum knife
with a cap lifter for the second blade. I would love to have one. Are they going to make as many
as they get orders? Is this open to newbies? I want one but don't want to take somebody's slot
who has been here longer than me.

And flair isn't strong enough. That knife is awesome!!!

You aren't kidding it has flair. That spear blade is simply too cool!!!

That spear point was what we asked GEC to use in its design for the BF 2011 knife.

Hoping for that long pull too, and Trey999, you'll be able to order the knife just like everyone else here. No orders have been taken yet, and there will be a deadline to get your money in. In case you have not read the whole thread though, the handles are going to be jigged bone, not Ebony.

I did see that, Thawk. Thanks for the information. Will GEC add this to their line up or is this a Blade
Forum exclusive? This might be the GEC pattern I have to collect.

They have indicated that they may add it to their lineup, but that's a ways off. And yes...it will have a long pull on the master.

In the next couple days, we will put up a thread to take orders.
