Easy to do patina ideas!

Lets come up with some sweet pattern and image ideas that could be referenced when putting a patina on a becker. Let's make most of these doable with simple and cheap supplies,.

Tiger stripes, Bloody X's, Crazy smiley faces.

Jolly Roger on my bk2. Done with blue painters tape, a skullcandy headphones decal + vinegar and brown mustard for the patina.

Paper towel, give some nice paterns.

I didn't like the papertowel+vinegar on my small blade - looked like it had the measels.
The maskings are great, tho.

Dijon mustard (with the seeds)
Garlic slices in mayonnaise

just stick it in an onion and speckle mustard where the onion doesnt reach. sorry, not a becker but still, this is about what you would end up with (on a larger knife)

After a acv bath I decided to take a stencil I had and with masking tape etch a skull into my blade, can work with vinegar or your patina producer of choice, I ended up using PCB etchant solution

Thank you! I had a bunch of stencils laying around that I bought from airsick stencils awhile back. I just traced them on the tape and cut out the tracing then etched

I've used chili garlic sauce (think srirachi) to make a marbled-look patina. I like straight vinegar for a nice even coating that will wear well.
