Ebay axes, the new stock market?

i'm not even going to look at the site.
paying huge prices for working tools is not my bag.
i enjoy seeing a new tang stamp, mark, brand, etc, but i don't need something so bad i have to blow a months rent on it.
i don't have the "disease" lol

as the man once said " it's only worth what the next guy is willing to pay"

buzz

hey omniviking? whereabouts in the Ozarks might you be? generally speaking

i'm up here in Mudzoory north

John Deere collector bought that, not an axe collector. Though I might be wrong.

yeah, operator i do believe your right...
those 'john deere' folks are crazy... us axe nuts are perfectly sain:D...
no, i do think your right. there are alot of folks that collect JD stuff and will pay top dollar for it. good for them if thats what they want... hell, its none of my buisness...
if i had more $ id buy/pay for alot more high dollar axes if i could. i just enjoy old tools and the such... i enjoy the history as well as cleaning them up and using them...
anyway, thats pretty cool, i've never heard of a JD axe/hatchet before... guess i'll have to keep my eyes open...;)

I ain't really complaining, and if I ever hit the jackpot I amy do stuff like this too. J D folks are not afraid to buy some pride now and then.

By the way I am around Mountain Grove MO
