In spite of the naysayers(who scared the crap outta me) and not being outbid (thanks Eric) I won the 'Spezial' NO on eBay. REALLY NEAT!!!! A little rusty in places,satin finished (or it was ground off??) no rear talon hole, NO that is a USER!!!!! WHOOOAH!!!

Not hair popping sharp as I go it,but the edge was well maintained and not FUBAR. No scratches on the blade itself,so it was either not sharpened or done by someone competent. Has a nearly horizontal cross draw rig that was made by someone NOT familiar with the thickness of Milt Sparks belts. (MtMike are you here???) It's a bit large to be wearing in that position in any event. The main thing is,it's been 'loved' so I can beat the snot out of it and feel no guilt whatsoever!

Now one quick question. Why no rear talon hole? I kinda like it. Really a clean looking shape. But,I'd like to know the reason behind this. Anybody??

Nice snag!! I looked at that auction. I would have bid but I thought the guy had amde a mistake and had a caretaker on his hands. Now I wish I had bid on the thing. :( Gotta love those Outlaws.

:D Doncha know!? I've got at least 3 safe queens that were advertised as 'users'. When they arrived could not find a mark on them!! Hardly any kydex scratches much less 'love bites'!!

I sent Eric the auction photos since they won't let me attach anything. Ya wanna play,ya gotta pay. BTW those stains on the blade are TREE SAP!! I love it!! Cleaned right up with a little press wash (solvent) and a rag.

GREAT price,but the shipping!?!? Almost $48!!!!! Yow! That stung. Still,a user. I think Jerry was right about a premimum on used blades. Busse's and no guilt! Yowza!!

I think I remember the knife. I am pretty sure the preowner did it himself.

(Grinding off the back of the butt and removing the coating.)
