Even if I don't bid, it's nice to look at an item and think "Yeah, I trust the description completely." JP's one of the best.

This is the first seller that I have seen where I think I can believe the descriptions

Gents,
Thanks for the kind words.

There were some very good pieces in this last group. All were duly photographed, measured and and researched in case I need them for the book and of course for future reference. As I get new items I have no choice but to let some go. They always seem to bought by really good people who will care for the knife and its history.

There should be some even higher-end pieces that will have to find new homes after I receive this next shipment.

Wow! and Crap! I am too late in the game...Hey John as a you being a gold member can you give us a heads up to your auctions? It's great seeing you take M.O and Cashiers Checks since I am unwilling to get PayPal I can now shoot for your excellent stuff if you will have any future auctions up?

I tried,
then discovered afterward that my bid program couldn't log in to place the bid.
Somehow the password log had gotten corrupted since last used.
& I would have won probably both of the two I tried to bid.
Ah Well..........

Leaves me more to spend at the Arms show here in Tulsa
comiing in a couple of weeks.

You once posted a photo of a tin chirra khukuri used in your calender, and it was spectacular. I'd appreciate a link to the photo again so I can save it. I'd love to see photos of your top 10 pieces!!!  I don't have too much experience with e-Bay, but your offerings would certainly take the guesswork out of authenticity, condition, etc. Good to have you selling the real deal, and excellent quality too.

Best wishes!

Dan
Here are the past few years of calendars (there were a few substitutions along the way). Which tin chirra?

The 10 best? Very difficult to determine, but I will post a photo of some good ones as a separate thread.

Great eye candy, John; thanks. The khukuri I mentioned I believe is featured in the September calender, last photo on right, last row going down the photo. You're very talented! :)

Thanks for the time you took to post it, John. :) It's a real beauty... Are your "top 10" khukuries dispersed with all the others all over your house, or are the special ones kept in a specific area or safe? It must be difficult deciding where to mount new arrivals!
