ebay has some miss informed people

they had midnight stagg case knives on there that are red stagg one looked like purple stagg. i have two midnight stagg knives a trapper and a copper lock the midnight stagg is blue in color and stagg white if they are going to sell knives they should get informed.
 
I havent seen these pics your talking about, but I do know that die lots do run differently. There can be variations in color.
