Ebay humor? Or do I just not know these terms?

Item #6526651175, claims to be a Spyderco Ladybug. Seller writes:

Excellent Condition. Made with a Gin-1 style blade, partially serrated. Magna Carta handle with steel belt clip. The blade has a thump hole for quick opening. This knife retails for $75.

Magna Carta handle? Is that supposed to be "Micarta", or is it a description of shape/style that I've just never heard of?

Thump hole? Typo for thumb hole, right? Not some secret Spyderco knife-opening trick like that zip-tie business?

Also, that's not a Ladybug, is it? And on top of that, Spyderco catalog currently says MSRP for Ladybug is 29.95.

Yikes

and it's discontinued, so it was more expensive than the 30$frn

But it's not even a Ladybug, is it? Isn't that a Meerkat?

He lists the Spydie Terzoula as "model number CPM 440V"! :D Also with "magna carta" handles! :footinmou

;) if anyone is planning on buying the gerber ez out for $75, get a hold of me, ill give you a great deal on one

Micarta -> Magna Carta...

Do you think he maybe just hit spell-check, and then clicked yes to every suggestion?

"Made with a Gin-1 style blade," Gin-1 style? I wonder what the steel is? :)

Don't forget the Vermouth content. 6Gin1Ve blades make for good heavy impact cutters, especially when cryo-treated with supercooled H2O.

LOL... This reminds of a line on a training schedule when I was posted with an Infantry unit in Germany:

" Movement to contact, land"

The printer had cut off the bottom line which was supposed to be "Navigation"

I thought it was handy for the Infantry to find land... They're moe at home there.

Funny though, some of those misspelled 1-sentence auctions succeed where an elaborately designed one doesn't. I don't get it!

It was a hoot though!
