I do alot of buying on ebay . I use the key word serches to look for say a benchmade . Then I get way too many results such as benchmade clone or benchmade quilty . I just now started reporting this to ebay as i come to them in my serches . I was wondering if any of you guys do the same . I think its wrong and waste my time . Also I like to ask if you dont do it , please take a minute and report them when you see them . here is a link to report them .
Thanks so much Guys !The report thing is all the way at the bottom left corner :)

I have exactly once.
It doesn't seem worth the effort, with all of the morons out there, they just keep coming back. Heck, look at the number automatics on ebay, which as supposedly outlawed on eBay. What they really need is a moderator.

There's also a brand of shoes, Benchmade, that you'll occationally run into on eBay searches. Apparently, they're very expensive.

Do your search from their search page

The second box down says words to exclude

Type in the word clone. If the word clone appears in the auction title it will not appear in your search. If you search title and description and the word appears in the description it will not show up on your search. I think you can put about 40 words in the exclude box.

I usually exclue certain sellers. Many of the clones and knockoffs are usually from a few main sellers. Block them and you're good. For some searches, I've gotten almost 300 hits. Once I block 4 sellers, I was down to 30 hits left. :) A few people selling a bunch of crap.

Why not make it easy on yourself?
Do a search on Benchmade in the knives section, and then sory by price. The junk will sink to the end.

That works fine, but not all sellers list them under knives. Go figure. Also, I always sort by Newly listed so I can see what was added. Sorting by price doesn't work as many of the knives are started at 1¢, or $1, which would put them at the bottom of the list for a good knife.

I reported some f'tard selling crap but putting in the keyword filson in all his clothing ads. The next day all of them where gone.

The only other place that gets any significant hits are under sporting goods. And even then, it's only repeats, never any really good deals, Do whatever you want, but I've found that it's just a waste of time.
