I was looking at a well known auction site and found a
CHRIS REEVE Lg. CLASSIC SEBENZA KNIFE--L/H-- Blackwood
and was wondering why on this particular knife it only had inlays on one side. I saw one on TKN and it has inlays on both sides. Is it because it's left handed or did they forget something? Thanks

The most important counsel I can give you is to make this same inquiry to the seller, since his answer is what counts in your transaction.

Having said that, I would surmise that image 6 of 6 is not of the same knife as that of images 1-5 of 6. If you take a look at the CRK website, you'll see that there are two styles of sebenza -- regular and classic. Note that the classic sebbie in the first 5 images has a brass-colored thumb stud. Image 6 depicts a regular sebbie with a blue anodized thumb stud. Image 3 of 6 looks to be the lock side of the classic sebbie that is described in the auction details.

Good eye Fooj! I was just looking at the date and backdrop in the picture. I'm guessing he got his pictures mixed with others he sells. Thanks

That or he is just using generic pictures that he found. Don't know him not saying anything for sure about him in particular. I just know multiple people who have been scammed. Definitely gotta be careful on stealbay.
Maybe see if he will send you a picture with some kind of time stamp from the last day or two (newspaper or something) just to know that he has what he says that he has. I know others who have done similar things.

This seller sells a lot of knives and had made description/picture mistakes before. Just ask him and he will usually get right back to you. I purchased from him before. 100% positive feedback

Ok, thanks

He just made a mistake with his pictures is all...

I bought a Lg. Classic from him in Nov and he's a great guy (his real name btw really is "Guy"), he lives just a few miles south of me here in Florida so after a quick email, I made plans to meet him and pick mine up in person.

Dont think twice ordering from him...thumbs up all the way:thumbup:
