eBay Model 14 Brown Micarta Looks Suspicious

The brown micarta Model 14 listed below and trying to be authenticated by Mike Silvey's book looks suspicious. So much that I had Mike take a look and he thinks so too. He thinks they both should have riveted sheaths also.

What made me suspicious is that both blade lengths should be the same and then the two handles seem to have been photographed under different lighting. Anyway, I would get the right from the seller to have enough time to send the knife to Gary Randall for approval before final payment. //// Rhett
