It is one of the most frequence collection of mine. It is an auspicious and great gift for your valuable collections! Don't miss the best chance. It will bring you good luck. You can know more than I can describe if you take a look at the following pictures.

CONDICTION£ºIt is kept very well without any sign of breakage although it has been more than a thousand years long standing now .

more than a thousand years long standing now .

Aw, come on, man. $.09400 per year (with shipping) isn't THAT bad.

He does ramble on, though, doesn't he?

I especially like this part:
it is a back falchion,I think it maybe used by a mystery assassin, because from the style of the falchion and dragon pattern of the handle, only use by assassin

So if I etch a dragon pattern onto a BAS, will I be like a real assassin? Or does it only count if the blade has been "over one thousand years long standing now"?

Although, on the upside, he did take some nice pictures of it. Credit where credit is due.

You can pick up stuff like that for about $10-$15 on the streets of Kathmandu. Well, you can also get good quality Khukuris like HI for about $10-$15 also. But you pay a mark up here, because you do not have the opportunity to fly over to Nepal. Round trip usually cost around $1400. and then figure on $20 a day for living and food-if you want to be comfortable. (you can go a lot cheaper if you like) So the price for HI is not bad. Next time I go to Nepal (February) I plan on picking up a bunch of Khukuris and selling them on EBAY!

Lemmesee...the Quing Dynasty followed the Ming dynasty, which ended in the 15th c. Somethnig wrong with the math there.

They spent so much time giving me crap on the dragon, I almost forgot I was buying a "falcion."

Oh. wait. I'm not buying it. none of it.

I got to wondering why they added;

"Note: Photo Color might deviate slightly in comparison to the original artifact."

Looks like an accurate pix to me.
Maybe what you see is not what you get?

Wow, they even stamped "GORKA ARMY" on the blades (in english yet)
on blades 1000yrs ago in China!

How's that for forward planning to take advantage of the tourist trade.

 :D

Scabbard and blade looks very like the "Newari Tourist Junk" , so identified by Uncle Bill, I purchased from UB last year, under his protest.

I was wanting something cheaply engraved, decorated, when he told me he had this 'Newari Tourist Junk" lying around somewhere. That was before I got really enthused about the 'quality'HI Khukuris and went on a crazy HIKV buying spree .:)

LOL.

Everything that guy has is "has been more than a thousand years long standing now"

How'd a tourist khuk end up in that bunch of Chinese tourist knick-knacks?

Check out the great advice on collecting jade:

"Genuine Chinese Ancient Jade is extremely rare and anyone collecting this precious collectable understands the rarity and investment potential. Historically there has been a critical shortage of supply of quality Ancient Jade and prices have been much higher than current values. Those of you who are collecting or beginning to collect Ancient jade will be greatly rewarded as the source of today’s Ancient jade will soon be locked in a watery grave (Three Gorge Dam Project) and the popularity of these ancient treasures by Chinese and foreigners alike will greatly increase values. Ancient Jade is much more than a collectable it is a great investment in ancient History. Add Rare Tangible assets to your investment portfolio…"

Guess that's where the quarry is that they get the stone to make their tourist repros, eh?

"Tourist junk"! Hey guys, this is the real thing. Absolutely authentic and rare beyond belief! Boy, I think this guy is a bloody genius....

Now, where are those pain pills again?
