G'Day, I know I miss the point really easy in my senior moments, and I am no longer on Mr Taylor's Xmas card list..however why would anyone actually want to bastardise an actual established model of Schrade unless one had no regard whatsoever for the original. Ebay#120087851915 is LB2 for $12.95.The original LB2 had staglon handles with no shield and one clip blade.Uncle Henry signature stamped on tang.
The staglon differentiated this cute little knife from the LB1 Cub as I understand it.which was either impregnated woodgrain,winewood or scrimshawed.
Why would anyone throw some manufactured wood on an LB1 and call it an LB2 and then in cursive write Uncle Henry on blade.Why not call it an LB1.??. or wouldnt anyone get sucked in with that arrangement.? Seller of course makes no hint of manufacture....Go figure......This upcoming Schrade book should be a 'doozie 'if model numbers ever get mentioned. Can hardly wait for the faux wood LB8...!..
