Ebay scores - Collins Bonded double bit & Plumb single

In the past few months my interest has really turned towards vintage tools. I'm amazed at the quality of axes you can get for such little money - the Collins was $24 and the Plumb $12 (both were about $12 to ship). I bought both of these from the same guy located in Texas and I'm thinking that tools survive much better in the southwest vs. say up north. These two axes are in amazing shape. :thumbup:. I received the Collins before the weekend and did sharpen it up. Just some quick shots I took last night.

Perfect grain on the Plumb and the handle shape is awesome.

Those are both great axes. And I love the handle on that old sickle.

thise are some fine looking tools. those collins 'bonded' axes are supposed to be top notch...

Nice scores...I have a Collins Bonded single bit that is 7 X 5.25 in size. I got it on Ebay a while ago. I've been looking for a Bonded double bit to go along with it for awhile now. The last one I bid on went for much more than I was willing to go for.
