Ebay Steel Tiger, fake or legit?

Looking for a VG-1 Steel Tiger, only found some on ebay but since it's based out of china I'm a bit skeptical of its authenticity, seller responded that they didn't have any more pictures and didn't answer when I asked about authenticity

Linking to eBay auctions is frowned upon on the forum. China also produces tremendous numbers of counterfeits, and a dodgy seller never inspires confidence. Even if it looked spot on, there would be no way of knowing if the steel was any good, if it was correctly heat-treated, or if the handle was solidly joined to the blade--worries that could be avoided by buying from a reputable vendor. Unless you are desperate and need a seller in China, then this is a hard pass.
 
Thanks, the only ones available from reputable sellers that i could find are the aus8a versions. was hoping to find some new vg1 ones still but i guess i'll wait and hope they release the knife in one of their supersteels

FAKE ! "Item located in China" and metric tape measure in picture .

I'd just buy a new one from a trusted dealer . AUS8 is perfectly good for this type of weapon .
