Ebbtides new Bowie (pic)what kind of sheath?

Here is a couple of pictures of Wally's new Bowie I just finished.Forged 5160 Blade at 8 inches,Nickel silver guard and Ebony and Mastodon ivory handle over steel frame handle at just over 4 1/2 inches,stainless pins.
Now what style of sheath should I make him,One with a throat and tip of Nickel silver or just a western style leather sheath???
Also please let me know what you think of this Bowie...

Bruce, that's a beauty. Great lines and your usual fine finishing. I would go for the fancy sheath if it were mine and the choice was being offered.;)

I just love this picture of this Bowie across Donna's new Flamed shirt,like my new banner..Expecially since she was in it.The knife was sitting on her but it looks like it is magicaly floating,It was just a cool shot.I swear that this knife just jumps out of the pictures I have taken of it.

We were just cutting up when we took these pictures because I wanted to show off her new shirt with one of my knives.But you can see what I mean about the knife just jumping because here she is holding it.

I know Bruce....She makes it hard ( no pun intended :D )I mean tough to get in the shop and make knives when she isn't at work herself.
I thought that the one picture would make for a good magazine cover,if I would have had the sky and the tree out of the Blade.

It's OK guys I am not the jelous kind,Just proud of my wife and know that other guys look and just smile because she is with me.I have pictures of her all over my shop and get comments all the time.They make her smile and feel good about herself (as she is just like any woman and says that she is fat,I can't see any but she does.):p ;) :D
 
What a cutie! Bruce, you lucky dog....not only do you have some great knives but you have a fine woman who appreciates them too! BTW, cool shirt!

I guess the knife is alright, but I like the new shirt better.
Did you forge the naval ring? For these kind of pictures you need to forge out a little bowie naval ring, they would probably sell like hot cakes. Just Jizing ya around. :D :D :D :D :D :D

Bruce that's a fantastic bowie on a beautiful background. Ebbtide must feel pretty good about this one! :D

I really like the heavy bolster and wide flare at the back of the handle, another original Evans touch. I think it must be the inspiration under which you're working!

bruce i missed getting together with my web guy before the shealth man showed up. but i have a new bushwhacker model finish with a cocobolo handle that i hope to have posted by wedsday, o.k. no sisters, what about friends of hers. hey where i leave in santa (soviet ) monica its been hard to find a women that respects knife making.
 
Actually Ebbtide ndesigned this knife.I just added a few little touches.
Thanks for the kind words everybody.My wife just shakes her head and thinks that we are all crazy because we think she looks good.I just can't convince her...

Rhino,Were I live,Hunting and fishing are just a way of life.And Most of the woman here respect a good knife in the field or in the kitchen.It is something that has been handed down from the grandmothers.

I was hoping that that picture wouldn't get you into trouble.:)
I tried to get her to take the shirt off and let me use it as a back drop,But she said that she wasn't going to stand in the yard topless.Just tell her that I was trying to get a good close up of the Blade and the shirt at the same time,Hope I didn't get you into trouble...:eek:

OH Yea I guess I will get to try my first throat and tipped sheath on this one,Unless you are wanting to carry it and take it camping and hunting.....
 
Nah, no trouble at all. Wifey is too cool, just a little surprised from across the room. I don't think she realized (when I said "my knife") that it was one that didn't get here yet!
Tomorrow (today) Oct 1st is our 24th wedding anniversary:D
Can't wait to see the sheath, in fact cant wait to HOLD the knife :D
