Full height hollow ground CPM154 blade just under 7mm thick. Grind took a lot of weight out for a stout but quick blade. Fittings are 416 stainless, the guard and two thick ferrule spacers were flash etched in ferric to antique them. Handle is Ebony as the title states and my first attempt at texturing, not as easy as I thought.

OAL is 13 1/2" X 8" blade. Hope you all like it.

Thanks very much for looking and leaving your comments everyone, especially on such a simple knife compared to what is being posted lately.

John the blade was ground on a platen attachment I made that equates to a 14" wheel. The thick stock also helped to get a nice even sweep.

Nick the pommel is two piece. Diamond section is recessed into the handle and the finial nut goes through it. Mostly set the plate it in there to spread the load once I tightened the nut down.

I like everything about it. Great shape on the blade, guard, spacer, handle, final, and the handle material and the texturing are all great!

Best I've seen in a long time. I like that modern powder steel was used and the full height hollow grind is just amazing!

Your knives are always so clean and well executed. I especially like your pommel treatment.:thumbup:

That is just so right on so many levels
