Ebony Coffin Bowie

Here's my latest work. I got really inspired to make a big bowie after seeing all the ones at the Pasadena Knife Expo last weekend. I also used this piece of jet black ebony that I bought at the show. The blade is 9.5" of 5160 and overall length is 15". Fittings are mild steel. Thanks for looking.

Thanks everyone for the comments. I haven't used ebony in a long time and had forgotten how bad the dust was. It turns out nicely in the end though. I feel this is my best work so far. Everything just came out right. I also put a nice taper to the blade. I'm going to make a sheath this weekend and then sell this thing. As much as I'd like to keep it I have to try to sell it!
