Hello everybody,
some of you might have seen me and my work in the gallery.
But since Mark Williams invited me to post here at the shoptalk, I'm going to post some of my work here too.
The knife you see below is the 5th knife I made. It's a little EDC-blade made of D2 (the leftover piece of my grinding platen
) and ebony.
That's where it got its name from, ebony dwarf.
And since this afternoon the ebony dwarf is a proud owner of a brandnew sheat.
The sheat is black too as it is the knife.
It's my third sheat and this time everthing worked out quite well.
The only problem I have is to keep the holes aligned on the backside of the sheat when I'm drilling them. The most are on the line but some are off and that looks like unclean workmanship, and that's something I just don't like, although its only on the back.
But I think sheatmaking will be a quite nice additional hobby to knifemaking.
Looking forward to your comments.
Marcus
