sunny tractor green--sunny steel ebony--scout ebony--mink ebony--whitt ebony & finally mink abalone.
the scout is ebony from 2007 & the rest are 2010 issues. the newer ebonies have caramel tones thru darker wood. the mink is a monotony breaker. if members notice the steel bolsters are a deeper black than the tract green n/s bolsters. i do'nt know if they are stainless or carbon but i bet joebob or mamba have that info.of course the northfield sunnie has the "un-X-ld " stamped in blade which i find much more attractive than the funky ink used earlier. i consulted the janka wood scale & found there are 10 ebonies listed, one of which is white & black streaks .

GEC won't say what the bolsters are except that they are "cold rolled". I know lots of mild steels are cold rolled, I don't know if the stainless steels are or not, though I suspect if they were stainless they would tell us. I'm getting one for a user soon, and I'll put it into the rotation. ;)

Dennis,

I guess it is OK to show other Ebony knives ?

These are a limited edition, ebony scaled version of the 314 and 312 Buck Trappers.
They were numbered edition of 250. Don't like'em too much, they are hard to find.
