I was given Blackstone's recommendation by several guys, and I finally ordered 3 blades from them.

WOW, these blades cost HALF as much as the others I've used and cut like I can't believe. They're the DieMaster 14/18 and they actually cut rather than gnaw through the steel.

The blades were $13 and change each.

Just wanted to throw this out there for the guys that have thought their cheapy band saw sucked as bad as I thought mine did. Blades make the difference.

Their phone number is 800-866-6241. Be sure and ask for bi-metal. I been using them for many years and never a bad blade. They also have the 24 TPI .020 blades. Great for the thinner material.
