Eccentric pivot and a nested liner...What are they?

I am trading for a Spyderco Military that has an "eccentric pivot" and a "nested liner". Can someone please explain to me EXACTLY what these two things are, and what they do?...Good points and bad points? Thanks..

The nested liner means that the g-10 has been milled out and the liner fits into the g-10.

Thank-You for the information, and for the link , but now I'll have to decide if I want to/need to adjust the eccentric pivot on MY Military once I receive it..

Usually the adjustment of the excentric pivot is the factory fine tuning. You could do worse if you mess there.
