I'll be there, definitely on Saturday, but perhaps Friday as well. Usually hanging out with the JD crowd. I've got to pick up a new knife that I have been waiting for. I am very very excited for this show.
Friday = Best selection = Good deal.I'm definitely going also. Out of the 3 days of the show when should one go in order to find good deals? Never been to that kind of a show. Figured the first day is probably too early to catch any delas, what do you guys think? Thanks!
Friday = Best selection = Good deal.
Good deals is a rough definition. Historically makers will NOT discount knives as the show goes on. (not that it doesn't happen, and allowances are always made.)
The rationale is that it would be unfair to those who purchased and supported early at one price to find the same work was given later, at a lower price. Bad mojo.
Buying from dealers is different (slightly) and you may expect to negotiate for a good price throughout the show.
