Since I haven't been to a show in a while I figured I should try (again) to make this one. Anybody going?

Incredible lineup of top-tier makers and dealers.

See you there, Jon!

I have a table there this year. Come past and say hi.

I am planning to be there on Friday. I have my train tickets. The schedule looks clear and I actually enjoy the train ride to Newark and then the PATH to Jersey City.

Then again, five or six weeks ago I would have said I was going to the AKA Show and I had already purchased those tickets, too, but that didn't work out. So I guess we'll just see.

I'll be there, definitely on Saturday, but perhaps Friday as well. Usually hanging out with the JD crowd. I've got to pick up a new knife that I have been waiting for. I am very very excited for this show.

I've got a table again this year. Great show with incredible knives from worldwide top makers. Hope to see you there!

I'll be there first thing Friday. It's always great to see old friends and beautiful knives.
I'm 6' tall, medium build, have a short beard, and wear a skull cap. If you see me, come over and say hi. I'd love to meet more of you. ;)

I'm definitely going also. Out of the 3 days of the show when should one go in order to find good deals? Never been to that kind of a show. Figured the first day is probably too early to catch any delas, what do you guys think? Thanks!

Friday = Best selection = Good deal.

Good deals is a rough definition. Historically makers will NOT discount knives as the show goes on. (not that it doesn't happen, and allowances are always made.)

The rationale is that it would be unfair to those who purchased and supported early at one price to find the same work was given later, at a lower price. Bad mojo.

Buying from dealers is different (slightly) and you may expect to negotiate for a good price throughout the show.
